I'm a photographer with a passion for beautiful experiences! I believe in living life fiercely and giving my all to the people in my world. Welcome to my blog where you can explore the most recent weddings I have been blessed to capture as well as helpful information for brides and fellow wedding photographers!
Have you ever been told that you have a relative that you have never met before? Some people may feel that it doesn’t matter considering the age they may be or the circumstances of the information, the side of the family they are associated with and so on. Well, let me just say this photoshoot was extra special for this family.
Kiara and Kay Lee are SISTERS!
So June 6th, 2019, in Aurora, Colorado their dad set up a photoshoot to capture their first time ever meeting. I spoke with Kiara (young sister) and asked how she felt. She was all over the place as there was so many things that she wanted to ask and know about KayLee. Now up to this point, they both would chat via snapchat or text messages and they both wanted to meet each other in person. So, back to the car ride up to Aurora; during the drive her Dad Mikey was also thrilled of the idea that his girls will get to meet.
When we picked up KayLee, Kiara was on the edge of her seat as they pulled around to her house. I was in the back seat and she eventually said she wanted to sit in the back to next to her sister. Their smiles were from ear to ear and their embrace was that much more warming.
Throughout the shoot they had so much fun and shared so many laughs together. Their dad Mickey was so happy to see his girls getting along and laughing. As a parent these moments are the ones we remember and hold near and dear. For Mikey it is that more special that even regardless of the time lost. He doesn’t see it that way, and is proud of his girls.
