The Salado College Ruins is one of Central Texas gems that many people look for when it comes to formal photographs of their families, upcoming mothers with a maternity session or even a fun night out with your better half. Walking down main street is super fun especially if you stop for some candy at the Sugar Shake or if thats to sweet for you, a nice cold adult beverage at the Lone Star Winery & Chupacabra Craft Beer. Getting to the ruins requires you to walk up a several steps, so if you plan on bringing a stroller leave it in the car. Once you are up top you will see the beautiful ruins. Depending on when you go you may even encounter wildflowers, and butterflies which, is a great way to see the children light up when they see them.
Once again, the magic between Regina and Juan during this shoot was amazing. There’re was a lot of laughter and joy while we walked along the creek in downtown Salado, Tx. I could see their love for each other and it was a great feeling to capture their moments together. I loved there story and how these pictures are a celebration of their commitment to one another for 4 years and how much they support each other. With busy work and school schedules these to made this a day for them.
That is something that we can’t forget when it comes to being in a relationship. We need to make time to get dressed up and have a good time with each other. It keeps the spark going in your relationship and makes your relationship grow, flourish, and turn to something beautiful. It’s such a refreshing time to see this young love be so deep and powerful. I wish you both nothing but the best in you future.
